The Native Engine Comedy Show, hosted by local comic upstart and native Nashvillian Craig Smith, has been a monthly event at stalwart rock ‘n’ roll venue The End since December 2003.
Featuring a changing lineup of the region’s funniest and most unique comedians, the Show has attracted a diverse and growing audience. The unexpected tempo and unconventional commentary consistently surprises fans and keeps them coming back, always ready to laugh, whether in spite of themselves or in wholehearted agreement. Native Engine has the same iconoclastic abandon and tenacity of the do-it-yourself punk scene that helped skew Craig’s world view.
